Tommies This Week November 29 - December 5

Friday, November 30th

Women’s Volleyball vs UNBSJ 6:00pm at LB Gym

The Seawolves are sitting 4th in the ACAA with a record of 5-3, while the Tommies are two spots back with a record of 3-6. These two teams faced each other back on Wednesday, November 14th in Saint John with the Seawolves winning in straight sets.

 

Women’s Hockey vs StFX 7:00pm at Grant-Harvey Centre

The Tommies sit atop the AUS standings with a record of 13-2-0 and sit four points clear of StFX (10-3-2). StFX has given the Tommies one of their two losses on the season, a 2-0 defeat on October 27th in Antigonish. Since then the Tommies have won 8 straight games.

 

Men’s Volleyball vs UNBSJ

The Tommies continue to roll through the ACAA as they sit atop the standings at 6-0, having only dropped 4 sets in those matches. The Tommies handled the Seawolves 3-1 in Saint John back on November 14th.

 

Saturday, December 1st

Women’s Volleyball @ DAL AC 3:00pm

The Tommies will head to Truro to face the Rams for the first time this season. The Rams enter this week with a record of 1-7 on the season.

 

Women’s Basketball vs DAL AC 3:00pm at LB Gym

The Tommies stayed put at #10 in the country this past week and will host the Dal AC Rams who are still searching for their first win of the season.

 

Men’s Basketball vs DAL AC 5:00pm at LB Gym

After a pair of heartbreaking losses this past weekend, that saw the Tommies lose fourth quarter leads against Crandall (5-2) and UKC (3-4), the Tommies will face a winless Rams squad.

 

Sunday, December 2nd

Women’s Basketball vs Crandall 2:00pm at LB Gym

The Chargers and Tommies will have a rematch a week after STU won 85-57 at the Pit. The Tommies have been great defensively lately and will look to close a strong first half of the season.

 

Men’s Basketball vs Crandall 4:00pm at LB Gym

It will be a week exactly since the Tommies and Chargers faced off in a game that won’t soon be forgotten. The Tommies fell 102-99 in an overtime thriller and will look to avenge that loss.
