Yoga and Pilates Classes for STU Students and JB O'Keefe Members

We are excited to partner with Precision Pilates and the Nest Yoga to offer Pilates and yoga classes in the J.B. O’Keefe Fitness Centre’s Recreational Gym.  

These 1-hour sessions are free for STU students, but with limited space, we are asking you to sign-up with the registration links below. There is a cap of 20 participants per classes, so there could be a waiting list.  If there is additional demand, we may add classes. 

Pilates: Tuesdays 4:30 pm – starting January 30th
Self-Defense: Wednesdays 5:00pm - starting January 31st 
Yoga: Thursdays 4:30 pm – starting February 1st
Dance: Friday 4:30pm - starting February 2nd

Wellness Programs for STU students, Faculty and Staff

Summer Bike Share Program ($10 yearly membership fee for program)

Our Bike Share Program season runs from June to the end of October each year (weather permitting). Once you have a membership, you can sign out a bike at your convenience! This might be a great way to fill a lunch hour once a week or make plans with a co-worker to challenge a weekly KM average!

The program is designed to serve St. Thomas University faculty, staff and students who would like to get out for a leisurely bike ride or to explore the city and surrounding areas. The program is not intended to provide faculty, staff and students day-to-day transportation from his/her residence to the University, but rather a means of promoting outdoor physical activity and experiencing this beautiful city and community of ours.

Bike Share program includes usage of bicycle helmet and bicycle lock (Damages and/or loss of equipment is responsibility of renter)

Winter Snowshoe Share Program ($10 yearly membership for program)

The Program season runs from January to March each year (weather permitting). 

The Snowshoe Share Program is designed to serve St. Thomas University faculty, staff and students who would like to get out for a leisurely snowshoe and explore the city trails.  The Program is promoting outdoor physical activity and experiencing this beautiful city and community of ours.

The Program will be managed through the J.B. O’Keefe Fitness Centre front desk staff.
