Tommies Fall to Crandall 94-81

(Fredericton, NB) The Crandall University Chargers handled the St Thomas University Tommies 94-81 in day two action of the Ken Gould Invitational tournament.

Led by Kendall Brown and Daniel Maxwell, who had 32 and 29 points respectively, the Chargers were just too much to handle for the Tommies down the stretch.

The Tommies were led offensively by second year guard Carlo Theriault (Campbellton, NB) who came off the bench to score a Tommies' career high 33 points.

"I put in a lot of work this offseason, and it was nice to see that pay off," said Theriault about his game. "It's really all about confidence and staying within the team offense and hopefully we can get a win against UNBSJ tomorrow."

The Tommies will face the UNBSJ Seawolves in the closing game of the tournament Sunday at 4:00pm.
