Tommies Fall 3-1 to Hurricanes

The St. Thomas University Tommies fell to the Holland College Hurricanes 3-1 in ACAA men's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Scotiabank Park South.

The Hurricanes struck first in the 21 minute when striker Ibrahima Sanoh buried the loose ball to the bottom corner of the net for a 1-0 lead.

The Tommies countered when Eric Prior netted the ball on a header to tie the game at 1-1.

The Hurricanes responded in the 67 minute when Sanoh potted his second of the game. James Briand followed suit to give the Hurricanes a 3-1 lead, which held up to be the final score.

The Tommies are back in action tomorrow when they play their final game of the season against the Dalhousie Agricultural College Rams. Game time is 4:00 pm at Scotiabank Park South.
