Results from NB Indoor Track and Field Championships

It was another record-breaking day for the Tommies at the New Brunswick Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend. 

Sarah Hickman was the top Tommie on the women's side, breaking the university record in the 60 meters with a time of 8.50 to claim gold in the junior category. She also claimed gold in the junior 200 meters, finishing in 29.22. 

In the women's weight throw, Shannon Morris broke the STU record with a throw of 10.78 meters to earn gold in the senior category. 

Jonathan Gionet continued his trend of strong performances, winning the provincial title for shot put with a throw of 14.53 meters. 

Will Leek broke the STU record for long jump with a distance of 5.48 and earned bronze in the senior category.
