Tommies Cap Off 2017-2018 Season With Personal Bests at AUS Championships

The St. Thomas University Tommies closed out the 2017-2018 track season with another weekend of personal bests at the Atlantic University Sport Championships.

Chelsey Hall set a new PB and STU record in the 300 meter, crossing the line at 44.96. Kelly Brennan and Grace Baker also recorded new personal benchmarks with times of 48.86 and 48.03, respectively. Sarah Hickman finished just after Hall with a time of 46.00 and Hannah Clarke followed suit at 46.50.

Hall also competed in the 600 meter, which she finished in 1:45.91.

The STU record-setting 4x200 meter relay team crossed the finish line at 1:55.19—just over their previous best time of 1:54.

The Tommies sole long distance runner Alaina Mejia competed in the 1000 meter and cross the finish line in 3:38.52.

On the men's side, Connor Coelho ran his way to another personal best in the 600 meter with a time of 1:34.30.
