The St. Thomas University Tommies cross country team travelled to Antigonish, NS, over the weekend to compete at the StFx invitational.

Ryan Terry, the lone Tommie competing on the men's side, crossed the finish line with a time of 32:44 in the 8km race.

On the women's side, Chelsey Hall was the Tommies top finisher coming off an injury that kept her sidelined for two weeks and completing the race in 28:02. Finishing second for the Tommies was Brynn Gilmore, who posted a time of 29:42 in her first-ever AUS cross country race. First-year runner Alaina Mejia finished the 6km race with a time of 30:31, and Jensen Elliott left with a 3-minute personal best recording a time of 31:08.

The Tommies are back in action October 28 when they travel to Acadia University for the Subway AUS Cross Country Championships.
