Injury Prevents Team Placement for Tommies

The Tommies travelled to Halifax for the AUS championships with 5 runners, but due to an injury to Connor Coehlo (Richmond, BC) the team was unable to place. Almost all of the cross country runners ran a personal or season best in their respective races, with rookie Lars Schwarz leading the way for the Tommies in the men's 10km race, finishing 22nd.

"Cross country is honest. Your result comes down to your effort in training, your mindset and your heart," first year head coach Nick Larade said following the race.

With the culmination of the cross country season, Larade will now turn his focus to the track team, where some of his cross country athletes will participate as well.
