The St. Thomas University Tommies fell to the Champlain Cavaliers 73-55 in CCAA exhibition women's basketball action Friday night in Trois Rivères. 

The Cavaliers held a 29-27 lead at the break, but used a lopsided third quarter--they outscored the Tommies 22-10 in the frame-- to pull away.

Jessica Patenaude led the Green and Gold with 16 points, while Madison Owens added 13. Jayme Hunt chipped in with 10 points in the loss.  

The Tommies are back in action tomorrow when they take on the Ste. Foy Dynamiques at 10:00 am (EDT) and the Trois Rivières Diablos at 4:00 pm (EDT).
