Chargers Fall to Tommies 75-41

(Fredericton, NB) The St. Thomas University women's basketball team had a hard fought 75-41 victory against Crandall University Chargers in their second game of the Ken Gould Invitational. The overall team play was evident in the Tommies' victory as every player contributed in the scoring race.

Madison Owens (Fredericton, NB) was Player of the Game with, 6 points and 4 assists felt it was a good team win.

"We played really good team basketball, and everyone helped contribute in different ways which made it a really fun game to play in." 

Sydnee Balser had a double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Chargers. 

The Tommies are set to face one of their rivals, the Mount Allison University Mounties, Sunday with a 2pm tip-off in the final game of the tournament for the women.
