You can make it 4 in a row for the St. Thomas University Tommies as they defeated the visiting Crandall University Chargers on Sunday evening.
The Tommies were coming off the strength of a 56-54 victory over the UKC Blue Devils on Saturday and translated that success into an 85-57 victory over the Chargers.
The Tommies once again used great team defense and scoring as they created 22 turnovers from the Chargers, and every Tommie found the score sheet in the game, with three players scoring in double figures. Lainy Dow (Fredericton, NB) had 15 to pace STU, with Bridget Frazee (Sussex, NB) chipping in with 13. Morgan McHatten had 16 points for the Chargers in the loss.
The Tommies will the Dal AC Rams on December 1st, and the Chargers will once again be in Fredericton to face the Tommies on December 2nd.
