The St. Thomas University Tommies topped the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics 2-0 in ACAA women's soccer action Saturday afternoon at Scotiabank Park South.
The game remained scoreless until Tommies striker Nikita McCartney scored her first of the season in the 15th minute. McCartney added another goal in the 64th minute to vault the Tommies to a 2-0 win over the Mystics.
The Tommies outshot the Mystics 6-5 with Mary Cronin earning the shut out for the Green and Gold.
The Tommies are back in action Sunday afternoon when the University of Kings College Blue Devils visit Scotiabank Park South at 12:00pm.
