The St. Thomas University Tommies edged the UNB Saint John Seawolves 1-0 in ACAA women's soccer action at the Canada Games Stadium. Nikita McCartney scored the only goal of the game to keep the Tommies perfect record. The Tommies outshot the Seawolves 11-9 while both teams finished with four corner kicks in the closely contested game.
The Tommies improved to 2-0-1 while the Seawolves sit at 0-1-2.
The Tommies are back in action Wednesday when they host the Crandall University Chargers. Game time is 6:00 pm.
