An undefeated regular season is nothing to be disappointed in, but the St. Thomas University Tommies fell just short in the ACAA Championship game, 3-2 at the hands of a strong MSVU Mystics team.
Outside of that it was a banner year for the Tommies, with 6 players getting All-Conference awards. Kaleigh Roberts (Moncton, NB), Victoria Muise (Cole Harbour, NS), and rookie Jessica McWilliams (Tracadie, NB) were all named 2nd Team All-Conference, while Leandra Upton (Fredericton, NB), Louisa Hughes (Fredericton, NB) and Nikita McCartney (Moncton, NB) were all named to the 1st Team. McCartney also picked up ACAA Player of the Year and CCAA All-Canadian, while head coach Michelle DeCourcey was named ACAA Coach of the Year.
With a strong core eligible to return for next season, the Tommies are poised for another great run.
