The St. Thomas University Tommies earned a hard fought win against the Mount Allison Mounties in ACAA women's volleyball action Saturday afternoon at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.
Set scores were 25-23,25-20,25-15.
Megan Mills powered the Tommies with eight kills and seven digs, while Deidra Jones added seven kills and eight digs.
The Mounties offence came from Brooke Gillespie, who had eight kills and seven digs.
The Tommies are back in action Saturday, November 4 when they take on the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics in Halifax. Game time is 1:30 pm.
