The St. Thomas University Tommies clinched their spot in the ACAA Women's Volleyball Championship final after edging the Holland College Hurricanes 3-2 in the conference semi-final Saturday afternoon at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym.

Set scores were 25-19, 27-29, 25-20, 21-25, and 15-08.

Both teams struggled from the service line throughout the match—the Tommies had 19 service errors and the Hurricanes had 14.

The Tommies relied heavily on Hannah Millier and Claire Richard, who came through on both sides of the ball. Millier collected five total blocks, while Richard tallied 18 kills with only four attack errors.

The Hurricanes started off slow but eventually found their rhythm. Brittany States paced their offense with 15 kills and Megan LeBlanc was a staple of the 'Canes defense with 22 digs.

The Tommies will face the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics for the ACAA title Sunday at 1:00 pm.
