The St. Thomas University women's volleyball team posted a big win against the Université Saint-Anne Dragons on Saturday, winning 3-0 in straight sets for their first victory on the season.
Set scores were 25-14, 25-15, and 25-11 for the Tommies.
The Tommies started off strong with big performances coming from 3rd year left side Megan Mills (Fredericton, NB), with 9 kills, and 3rd year middle Hannah Millier (Fredericton, NB) with 5 kills.
Isabelle Richard Poirier was the top attacker for the Dragons with 9 kills.
Both teams are back in action Sunday on the road as the Tommies head to Mount Allison University to face the Mounties at 1:00pm and the Dragons will be in Saint John to face the Seawolves at noon.
