2nd year forward Geoff Lavoie had a monster weekend for the Tommies in their 78-62 upset victory over the #13 ranked Crandall University Chargers.

Lavoie went a perfect 7/7, including 4/4 from 3-point land, for 18 points in the first quarter alone as the Tommies jumped out to a 40-10 lead after the first quarter. He would finish the game with 30 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks, on 12/19 shooting from the floor and 6/7 from downtown.

“Geoff was solid for us,” said head coach John Hickey following the game. “He hit some shots for us in the first quarter to help us get going. We expect those types of games from him.”

Lavoie now sits second in the ACAA in scoring, averaging 23 points per game.
