2nd year guard, Vanessa Soffee, is this week’s Supplement King Female Athlete of the Week.
The Fredericton, NB native had a great weekend for the Tommies as they took down two CCAA nationally ranked teams on the road.
On Saturday against the #2 ranked MSVU Mystics she flirted with a triple-double, scoring 9 points while adding 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals. She followed that up with a 16-point game against the #14 ranked UKC Blue Devils. She did all of this while only turning the ball over three times on the weekend.
“Vanessa was awesome this weekend,” said head coach Fred Connors. “Like elite level, All-Canadian kind of awesome.”
