Second year guard, Vanessa Soffee (Fredericton, NB) is this week’s Supplement King Female Athlete of the Week.

The reigning ACAA Rookie of the Year opened the 2019-20 season by scoring 9 points and adding 9 steals, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, and a block in the Tommies 53-44 victory.

“Vanessa was a sparkplug for us on Saturday,” said head coach Fred Connors. “She defended with a lot of energy and was moving the ball very well. When we needed a big play she was involved and showed a lot of composure throughout the game. She also did all that without getting into foul trouble, which was huge in us being able to keep her on the floor longer. It was an impressive effort.”
