Billy Cole, from Turtle Creek, NB, is joining the Athletics Department as the Sports Information Officer. Billy has experience with Tommies’ sports, having been the sports editor for The Aquinian, the St. Thomas campus newspaper, from 2019-21. He also played for the Tommies’ Men’s Rugby team from 2017-19 as a second row and flanker.
After graduating from St. Thomas University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts with a major in Journalism and minor in English, he worked at the Moncton Sportsdome for a year as an educator, while volunteering as a coach for the Riverview Minor Basketball Association in his spare time.
Growing up, Billy played a variety of sports, with basketball, rugby and baseball being his favorites. He joined STU Athletics as the Sports Information Officer in August 2022.
