Seawolves Fall 2-0 to Tommies

Saint John, NB – The University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves dropped a tightly contested match with the St. Thomas University Tommies, 2-0 Wednesday night at the Canada Games Stadium.

In what is typically a heated rivalry, Wednesday night was no different, as the officials were kept busy, handing out five cards on the evening, amongst several other fouls.

STU would open the scoring near the close of the first half, as Chidubem Nkoloagu would get his first of the season. Brett Springer would get his 5th of the year in the 75th minute to close out the scoring in the match.

Next action for the Seawolves (2-2-0) will be Saturday, September 24th when they host the Mount Saint Vincent University Mystics (0-2-2) at 4:14.
