The St. Thomas Tommies men’s rugby program is pleased to announce the addition of three new players: Sam Perkins (Hanover, NH), Jacob Eddington (Oromocto, NB) and Alex Compton (Summerside, PE).

Sam is coming to STU by way of Hanover, New Hampshire. He is a multi-sport athlete who has recently been recognized for his great performance and development in rugby. Sam was named League MVP this past year as well as receiving the John P. Urban Scholarship and Paragon Award for outstanding student athlete. Last but certainly not least, Sam received the Patriot Ledger All Scholastic Rugby Player. Sam is coming into the program with potential to make an immediate impact in a big way.

Jacob is a graduate of Oromocto High School. He continues a tradition of OHS players playing pivotal roles on the STU men's rugby team.
