Tommies Push Undefeated Streak to Nine Matches

Fredericton, NB- The St. Thomas University Tommies pushed their undefeated streak to nine matches with a 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23) victory over the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves.

The only loss the Tommies have on the 2019-20 season belongs to the Seawolves in the opening match of the season in Saint John.

Christian Christie and Adam McDougall led the charge for the Tommies, combining for 34 kills in the match.

"There's a reason he's a two-year All-Star in this league," said Tommies head coach, Henri Mallet. "He's in his third year now and he's maturing and becoming more efficient."

In what is always an energetic atmosphere at "The Pit" the Tommies and Seawolves put on a show for the fans as they shared rallies and a handful of powerful kills.

Ryan Farrell, a former Tommie and Fredericton native, led the Seawolves offence with 13 kills.

The Tommies remain atop the ACAA standings at 9-1 with the victory, while the Seawolves fall to 3-6.

These two rivals will face off again next Friday in Saint John.
