The St. Thomas University men’s volleyball team is excited to announce the addition of 6’4 middle Mason Brewster from Bathurst, New Brunswick.

Brewster, an athletic player out of École Secondaire Népisiguit (ESN) is a skilled player who completed an undefeated season last year in the NBIAA with ESN.

His passion for volleyball is something that was quickly evident to Head Coach Henri Mallet.

“Mason is the kind of player who will work as hard as possible to reach his goals. He is very athletic out of the middle position, and we think he will be able to adapt to the collegiate level quite nicely. I look forward to watching his progression over the years,” said Mallet.

Brewster will be suiting up for the Team New Brunswick squad that will be participating at the 2022 Canada Games in Niagara, Ontario from August 16th to August 21st.

The experience will be invaluable to him.

“I’m always looking for improvement and willing to put in all the effort to help myself and whatever team I am on,” said Brewster.

“I think I can bring respect, responsibility, and commitment to the program. I am a very humble and a determined player,” he added.

Brewster is the fifth recruit of the 2022-2023 class joining Raphael Fiset (Calgary, AB), Brenton Romanchuck (Dewberry, AB), Nathan Hara (Ajax, ON) and Tobi Archibald (Aylesford, NS)
