This recruiting release is brought to you by:

Kait Benjamin has committed to play of St. Thomas Women's Soccer in 2019. Kait comes to STU from Bridgewater, NS and is pleased to be coming to St. Thomas. "Since visiting the St. Thomas campus, I knew it was the right school for me. I really enjoy the tight knit community feeling and I believe that I would excel in the environment that the campus and student life has to offer at STU."

Kait has always wanted to play university soccer and is looking forward to joining the team.  "I am very excited to be coming to play soccer at St. Thomas. After meeting with Michelle and some of the girls, I felt right at home. Soccer has been a part of my life for so long and to be able to play at the University level has always been a goal of mine. I'm excited to continue to learn and develop in this high intensity program."

Head Coach Michele DeCourcey is very pleased that Kait, a recipient of the Francis M. McLaughlin Scholarship, has committed to come to STU. "We're happy to be welcoming Kait into our STU soccer family for the 2019-20 season. She comes to us with a great attitude and some solid playing experience with Halifax County in Nova Scotia's premier women's league. We expect her to compete for a starting spot in our backline and are excited to watch her develop as a player in this environment."
