Tommies Men's Soccer Signs Rothesay Native Dan Keripe

Fredericton, NB - April 29, 2024 - St. Thomas University's Men's Soccer program is proud to announce the addition of Dan Keripe, a dynamic striker, to its roster for the upcoming 24-25 season. Hailing from Rothesay, New Brunswick, Dan Keripe brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to the team.

Dan Keripe joins St. Thomas University after transferring from St. Lawrence College, where he showcased his prowess on the field. With roots deeply embedded in Fundy Soccer, his journey to St. Thomas reflects his commitment to excellence both athletically and academically.

"I chose St. Thomas for its exceptional athletics and academics," said Keripe. "I want to play for a team with ambitious goals, excellent coaching, and a commitment to excellence. As a New Brunswick native, I want to represent my province and show we can be successful on a national stage."

With a competitive spirit, relentless drive, and dedication to succeed, Dan Keripe embodies the values of leadership both on and off the field. His commitment to excellence is evident in his goals for the upcoming season.

"My goals for the fall season are clear," Keripe stated. "To win an ACAA conference championship and then a national championship on our home field. I want to leave a legacy of excellence and inspire young players from New Brunswick."

"After 4 years of trying to get him here, I am excited to finally have Dan join our program during this important offseason," said Head Coach JR Morrison. "Dan is a physical presence on the attacking end, works extremely hard and has a good scoring touch in front of net. He will also play a big role in attacking set pieces, and along with Big Sam and Oakes, will make defending set pieces even harder. It has really been 4 years of both of us wanting to work together so I am looking forward to seeing him in green and gold for our important year as host of CCAA Nationals."

The addition of Dan Keripe to the St. Thomas University Men's Soccer team promises to elevate the team's performance and inspire a new generation of athletes. His leadership, skill, and determination will undoubtedly contribute to the team's pursuit of greatness ahead of a very important season for the Tommies Men's soccer program.
