Congratulations to this year's award winners:

XC Unsung Heroes - Jamie Graham and Eduardo Montañez
Jamie, a second-year runner from Nackawic, NB, and Eduardo, a first-year runner from Dumaguete, Philippines, had been training specifically for the sprint distance but they both stepped up to compete at the StFX Invitational and the AUS Championships when we said STU needed more runners to qualify as a team. 

The Mel Keeling Cup for XC's Most Valuable Female Athlete - Marie-Pier Levesque
Marie-pier, a second-year runner from Val d'Amour, NB,  fought through injury to be our top placing female athlete at the AUS Championships. She also defended her title at the Summerside Farmers Helping Farmers 5 Miler. 

The Mel Keeling Cup for XC's Most valuable Male athlete is - Paul Nozicka 
Paul is a third-year student from Newbridge, NB.  He broke into the top 20 this year at the AUS Championships and also defended his title at the Miramichi Invitational. His race at AUS was inspirational as he moved from 21st to 19th in the final stages of the race.
