Bailey Andrews, a second-year scrumhalf from Charlottetown, PEI, is the STU Tommies Coastal Graphics Athlete of the Month for September.

Andrews, last year's Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association women's rugby rookie of the year, has stepped up as a leader for the Tommies this season. Her smart offensive decisions and key tackles on defense have been crucial to the team's success.  

"Bailey is creating opportunities for us on the field," Tommies head coach Meghan Morrison said. "She leads by example and is a hard-working player from the minute she steps on the field."

Andrews is leading the Tommies in scoring with 27 points in four games played.

The women's rugby team currently sits in second place in the ACAA standings with a record of 3-2.
