The STU Tommies are requesting varsity game day staff for the upcoming 18/19 season.  If you have experience in any of these areas, or feel you would be qualified to be a part of our game day team, please fill out the form, attach a resume and return it to Eric Moffatt at the JB O'Keefe Fitness Centre on STU Campus. 

These positions are open to students and the general public.  Events that will require staffing include Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Rugby and Women's Hockey.  Returning student applicants will be required to have a 2.7 GPA in previous academic year.

Positions  (some positions in certain sports may already be filled by staff)                                                                    

• Game day events assistant 
• Statistician (Presto)- (live game day stats program)                            
• Statistician Spotter – assist in the data entry                          
• Webcast Producer – set up /operate webcasting equipment  
• Webcast Camera Operator - operating a camera for webcast                           
• Scoreclock operator                                
• Scorekeeper                       
• Music DJ                     
• game announcer 
• webcast play by play commentator                                   
• Mascot – most be enthusiastic!   
• Ticket sellers 

All positions are part-time running from September – March with games primarily taking place during evenings and weekends.  These positions are "sport specific", therefore successful candidates must be very familiar with the playing rules and regulations for the sport related to the position.  St. Thomas Tommies strives to deliver the best game day events!
