Meaghan begand her role as Director of Athletics in October 2023

For ten years, Meaghan worked in athlete services at the Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, where she also managed Game Plan in Atlantic Canada, a national athlete wellness program. Most recently, she was the executive director of the Fredericton District Soccer Association where she managed programs for 1,500 members. At FDSA, she successfully led operations and fundraising as that organization significantly expanded. She has also been a sport consultant with the Provincial Government and taught in UNB’s Faculty of Kinesiology.    

Meaghan holds a Master of Business Administration from UNB (Sport and Recreation Management) and a Certificate in Mental Health in Elite Sport from the International Olympic Committee. She is an alumna of STU, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) in 2006. In addition to her professional achievements, she has been involved in community sports organizations; she served on mission staff for Team New Brunswick at the Canada Games and is on the Board of Directors at Sport New Brunswick.
