Tommies Fall to Mounties 85-61 in Game Two of the Ken Gould Invitational

The St. Thomas Tommies dropped an 85-61 decision to the Mount Allison Mounties in their second game of the Ken Gould Invitational. 

The Mounties were led by Brad Sanford and Alex Chisholm, who connected for 13 points each. 

Mitch Claybourn sparked the Tommies offense with 23 points in the loss. Travis Valanne chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds.

The teams were well-matched early on, playing to a 18-18 tie in the first quarter. The Mounties found an edge in the second and took a four-point lead into the locker room. 

The Tommies struggled in the third and the Mounties took advantage, outscoring the home team 34-16 in the frame. Despite a strong push in the fourth, the Tommies weren't able to overcome the Mounties lead.
