Hurricanes Best Tommies in Charlottetown

The St. Thomas Tommies suffered a lopsided 101-64 loss at the hands of the Holland College Hurricanes in ACAA men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in Charlottetown.

The Hurricanes jumped to a 28-9 first quarter lead that the Tommies were never able to overcome. 

It was tight second half with the Hurricanes only outscoring the Tommies by seven.

Abel Joseph led all scorers with 25 points, six rebounds, five steals, four assists, and two blocks. Travis Adams and Jayden Nordin added 16 and 14 points, respectively. 

The Tommies were paced by Mitch Claybourn, who connected for 22 points to go along with five assists and four rebounds. Sam Drummond added 14 points, five rebounds, and two steals in the loss.
