Tommies Drop 78-68 Decision to Mounties in Fredericton

The St. Thomas Tommies dropped a 78-68 decision to the Mount Allison Mounties in ACAA men's basketball action Saturday afternoon at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym. 

It was back and forth in the first half, but the Tommies held a slim 38-37 lead after 20 minutes of play. 

The teams traded hoops throughout the third but the Mounties found their rhythm and pulled away in the fourth, outscoring the Tommies 28-19 in the frame. 

Dylan Gallant led the Tommies with 17 points, six rebounds, six steals, and three assists. Mitch Claybourn added 13 points and Travis Valanne chipped in with 11. 

The Mounties were sparked by Bradley Fuller, who connected for a game-high 25 points. Alex Chisholm poured in 20 points and Thomas LeGallais added 17. 

With the win, the Mounties improve to 6-2. The Tommies drop to 3-6.
