The Tommies Men’s Basketball program bolstered with prospects and a couple local players won a thriller at the LB Gym Saturday night over the Crandall Chargers by a final score of 82-81. Tommies veteran All-Canadian Geoffrey Lavoie and pick-up Hunter Gray led the way with 20 points each.

The win was a perfect finish to a long year of practice and Coach John Hickey commented on how pleased he was with the work ethic through the entire year. He really believes his group battles hard and that it will be what his team will be known for going forward. “This group loves to compete….and compete for each other”.

The coaches, players and STU Athletic department would like to congratulate graduating senior Carlo Theriault for his outstanding contribution to the program.
