The St. Thomas Tommies topped the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers 29-14 in Maritime University Men's 'A' rugby action Sunday evening in Fredericton.

The Tommies' Zach Lakes crossed the try line twice in the first half and Mike Irvine was good on both conversions to give the Tommies a 14-0 lead at the break.

Andrew Steele, Mike Thurber, and Brad Sears supplied the offense for the Tommies in the second half with a try each.

The Panthers hit the scoresheet in the second with tries from James Coyle and Isaiah Hood. Mark Lloyd added two conversions.
