Tommies Men's Soccer Duo Crack ACAA All-Conference Teams

Two men's soccer Tommies were recognized as Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association all-conference players for 2016-17.

Kyle Yearwood, a rookie from Barbados, was given first team honours, while Oliver Dussault, a senior from St. George, NB, cracked the conference's second team.

In his debut with the Tommies, Yearwood played every minute of the regular season. He led the team in goals and helped the young Tommies squad be competitive in a rebuilding year.

"Kyle was deployed in multiple positions throughout the season," Tommies head coach John-Ryan Morrison said. "He's a tough tackler with great distribution, and will be an important part of our program for the next three years."

Dussault, a fourth-year wing back, was a key part of the Tommies lineup. His work ethic, intensity, and leadership were unmatched this season.

"Oliver worked incredibly hard in training and games, raising the intensity and pushing our young Tommies. He displayed the true meaning of the word grind," Morrison said.

Dussault was also active in the community, representing the Tommies by volunteering with Relay for Life and the Wanderers Soccer Development group.
