The St. Thomas University Tommies fell to the University of Kings College Blue Devils 2-0 in ACAA men's soccer action Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank Park South.
The Blue Devils opened the scoring when defender John Kester capitalized on a penalty kick in the 49th minute of the match for a 1-0 lead. Kester doubled the Blue Devils' lead with another goal in the 58th minute.
The Tommies struggled to get on the board as UKC goaltender Sam White managed to hold them scoreless throughout 90 minutes.
The loss marks the first of the Tommies' season thus far.
The Tommies are back in action when they visit the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves next Saturday at 3:00pm.
