Brett Springer will join the Men's Soccer team at St. Thomas University in the fall of 2019. Springer, from Bamberg, ON chose STU due to the atmosphere, energy, the team and academic reputation.

Brett feels he will bring hard work, leadership, a will to win with a passion and desire for success. From a technical aspect Springer believes he will bring speed, a scoring touch and ability to hold the ball and feed gaps.   

Coach JR Morrison is excited to have Brett on board and noted that Brett "is a strong attack minded player that holds up the ball and likes to involve his teammates in the attack. He comes with a reputation of being committed and coachable, which every coach wants.

After a weekend in town and meeting with some of the current players, Brett was very comfortable and fit in well." Coach Morrison also noted that "if we are going to win the ACAA Championship we need to score more goals and I am confident that Brett can help in that regard."
