Roy is a former player with the Fredericton District Soccer Association, a youth competitive program for U12-18 and a former member of the UNB Varsity Reds Men’s team. He has also been involved with the Fredericton Wanderers Senior A team and a current member of the Picaroons Reds.

Roy has been a coach with FDSA at the youth competitive level and was recently awarded Soccer NB’s Coach of the Year.
