The St. Thomas University Tommies track and field team had a successful showing at the Jump Start Moncton Open. 

First-year runner Ryan Terry finished second in the 800 meter with a time of 2:12. 68 and followed that up with a strong run in the 1500 meters, crossing the line in 4:28.51.

Second-year thrower Cowan Donovan earned a personal best in the 7.26 kg shot put, throwing for a distance of 11.78 meters.
