Tommies Add Versatility with Commitment of Rothesay's Riley Meahan

The St. Thomas University Tommies women's basketball team add an all-around player for the 2018-2019 season.

Riley Meahan, a five-eight forward from Rothesay, NB, has committed to join the STU squad this fall.  

"I am very excited to be at STU for the next four years," Riley said in choosing St. Thomas.  "I chose STU because of the amazing opportunities that are here and the small campus close to home"

The incoming Tommie who graduated from Rothesay High School, played numerous positions for the Redhawks.

Coach Fred Connors is looking forward to add versatility to his squad. "She has a great attitude and her work ethic will be a fit here at STU. I am looking forward to seeing her grow in our program."

Coach Connors also added that Riley has a nice feel to the game. Riley is looking forward to furthering her basketball career: "I am also very exciting to be playing basketball for a great coach and a great team."
