Tommies Still Perfect in Pre-season with Win Over Panthers

The St. Thomas Tommies improved their pre-season record to 4-0 with a win over the UPEI Panthers, Saturday afternoon in Fredericton. 

Breah MacEachern put the Panthers on the board in the first with a power play goal at 14:32, but Stephanie Ford responded for the Tommies two minutes later to tie the game 1-1.

Midway through the second, Tommies forward Myfanwy Thomson converted on the power play to tie the game, 2-2.

Thomson added her second power play goal of the night at 17:09 in the final frame to give the Tommies a 3-2 win. 

After giving up two goals in the first, Cook was a force between the pipes for the Tommies, making 28 saves in the win.
