The Tommies women’s rugby team continue to add pieces to the puzzle for a run at the ACAA Championship banner.

Macmullin will be attending St. Thomas this Fall with the intention of pursuing a career in Social Work and will fit in well at the University with her interests in History, Sociology and Psychology.

"My favourite part of playing rugby is not only the game, but it is also the team," mentions Macmullin. Joining a young squad will lead to quickly developing relationships "My teammates mean the world to me!"

Macmullin is the 4th recruit and leads this week's announcement of 3 more Women's Rugby team members for the Fall of 2022.

"Becca is an all-around player.  Her intelligence shows throughout her style of play" says Head Coach Baker. "She is fast off the ball and she can read the field well."

St. Thomas's close-knit community and small classes will help Becca transition into post-secondary life.  "I chose STU because it will offer me more than an amazing education, it will provide the knowledge, skills and resources to reach my full potential."

On joining the Rugby team, Becca will look to make an impact from the get-go.  "I am dedicated, always want to learn and build my skill set and knowledge of the game."

Macmullin joins Alexis Falconer, Vada Benoit and Atheana Harris as the newest recruits for Head Coach Becca Baker and the Tommies Women's Rugby team.
