The St. Thomas University Tommies bested the Universite Sainte-Anne Dragons 3-1 in ACAA women's volleyball action Sunday afternoon at the Lady Beaverbrook Gym. 

Set scores were 31-29, 25-11, 12-15, and 25-12. 

After a tight first set that saw both teams struggle defensively, the Tommies settled in--they made only three hitting errors--and cruised to a double-digit win in the second set.

The Dragons responded in the third set with a .391 hitting percentage and zero errors to come back within one set of the Tommies, but the home team rallied in the fourth to close out the match and earn their fourth win of the season. 

Deidra Jones had 13 kills and 15 digs for the Tommies, while teammates Hannah Millier and Megan Mills added 13 and 10 kills, respectively.

The Dragons, who drop to 1-10 with the loss, were paced by Sarah Theriault's 12 kills and 15 digs.
