Tommies Fall 3-2 to Seawolves in ACAA Quarterfinal

The St. Thomas University Tommies dropped a tough 3-2 decision to the University of New Brunswick Saint John Seawolves in the ACAA women's volleyball quarterfinal Friday afternoon in Truro.

Set scores were 21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 11-25, and 11-15.

The Seawolves averaged a hitting percentage of .105 in the match, while the Tommies struggled with a .056 conversion rate.

Jessica Barna had a stellar performance for the Tommies with 15 kills and only three errors to go along with eight digs. Deidra Jones added nine kills and 16 digs.

The Seawolves were sparked by Taneesha Dalling, who had 11 kills and 18 digs.

The Tommies end the season with an overall record of 9-13.
