The Tommies opened the 2017 Cross Country season with an Atlantic University Sport event at Odell Park.

Although they only had three runners competing on the women's side and one on the men's side it was a solid showing for the Tommies. 

Chelsey Hall was the first female runner to cross the finish line with a time of 28:32.42 in the 6km race, while Ryan Terry was the first to finish on the men's side, completing the 8km course in 32:18.71.

Alaina Mejia finished with a time of 31.40.18 and Jensen Elliott rounded out the Tommies' runners crossing the line at 34:50.04.
