Tied in the conference standings with four wins and three losses, Saint Thomas University and UNB Saint John battled back and forth, set for set tonight at the G. Forbes Elliot Athletics Centre. 

STU took the first set as the Seawolves struggled to find their feet, 25 – 17. Tommies, outside hitter Brenton Romanchuk put down 14 kills and 1 service ace. UNBSJ quickly turned it around in the second, 25 – 20. STU flipped the script in the third, 25-17 with the Seawolves only to turn around and take the fourth, 25-28. Seawolves' Adam Gauthier led the team in kills, 14 and had 2 service aces and first year outside hitter, William Siefker had 12 kills. 

The pressure mounted in the fifth set where the Seawolves had some promising grit but with a close finish the Tommies took the final set, 15 - 12.
