Tonight the UNB Saint John Seawolves men's volleyball team had their home opening game against the St. Thomas Tommies. The Seawolves came out victorious in a nail biting matchup and took the win 3 - 2 sets over the Tommies. (27-25, 27-25, 20-25, 24-26, 16-14)

Taking the lead in kills for the Tommies was Brent Romanchuk with 14, he added four digs. Parker Melnick had 10 kills with six digs and one service ace. Alex Frederickson went to work on defense and had 13 digs for STU. 

First year, outside hitter Adam Gauthier took charge with 16 kills and one dig. Not too far behind with 12 kills, another first year, William Siefker. Libero, Jonathan Fraser-Munroe had 12 digs for the game and starting setter Liam McLellan had 45 assists. Both teams battling with some serious grit, what a match for the Seawolves first home game of the regular season!
