Mackenzie Gillespie-Tracey and Billy Cole will step away from their roles with St. Thomas Athletics.

Mackenzie will be seeking new opportunities available to her in the Greater Saint John area, while Billy has been accepted into St. Thomas University Bachelor of Education program and will begin classes in late August.

Gillespie-Tracey, as the Tommies Athletic Therapist worked with numerous student-athletes and student trainers from various teams to get the Tommies back into practice and competition from injuries.  She led our Emergency Action protocols for our venues and was the Championship lead therapist for both the 2022 ACAA Soccer Championships and the 2023 ACAA Basketball Championships

Cole, as the Sports Information Officer, developed the first official STU Soccer Media Guide along with the Basketball, Volleyball and Women's Hockey media guides.  Billy also lead our Sports Information team with various students to provide social media coverage at home events and recaps.  Billy will remain on campus as he was accepted to STU's prestigious Bachelor of Education program.

The job advertisements to replace Mackenzie and Billy will be released shortly and look forward to receiving applications from various candidates.
